100 City Connection

See you at the 100 City Connection at 9:30pm, Beijing Time, 23rdof April

2050 is all about getting together for 3 days and participating in different activities in order to make meaningful connections. But this year, because of the pandemic and travel restriction, many friends from overseas cannot join us in Hangzhou. This however, cannot stop us from connecting with each other. That is why this year there will be young people from 100 cities of all over the world who will join us online together with many young people, who will be onsite, in Yunqi Hall in Hangzhou.

There will be two hosts in the free style talking, Isabelle Hannouche will be the host onsite and Daniel Vincz will be the host online. During this free-style discussion we will form random groups to talk about this 5 different topics:

1) Design Spaces And Ecosystems That Attracts World Class Scientists And Entrepreneurs
2) Inspiring The World To Fly
3) Getting Rid Of Our Trash And Clean The Planet – Once And For All
4) Becoming Multiplanetary Species – Are We Ready For It?
5) Our Post-Pandemic World – The New Norm

After the groups finish their discussion about the given topic, they share their findings and ideas with the whole audience. Once each group shared their ideas we open up the breakout rooms again and everybody can continue the discussion in any topic that they are interested in for as long as they feel like.

2050 is not a tech conference. Yes, it has some elements that makes it look like one, but it is much more than that. 2050 is a blank canvas that volunteers from all over the world can paint on. That is why this year there will be young people from 100 cities of all over the world who will join us online together with 500 young people, who will be onsite, in Yunqi Hall in Hangzhou.

 

We would like to invite you to join our free style talking on 100 City Connection, which will start at 9:30pm, Beijing Time on April 23rd.

 

During this free style talk we will have participants online and onsite, participating in group discussions about different topics. Everybody is encouraged to share their thoughts. The goal of this event is to get to know new people from all over the world, participating in a group discussion and co-creating ideas.
