The digital wave represented by emerging technologies such as IoT, big data and artificial intelligence has swept the world. As a result, the physical world and the corresponding digital world are forming two systems that develop with parallel evolution and interaction. The digital world is built to serve the physical world. The physical world becomes more efficient and organized with the digital world.
The digital twin city is a virtual mapping object and intelligent-controlled body of the future physical city. It is a complex giant system of systems that corresponds to each other, maps and interacts with each other.
With the construction of digital twin city ecosystem, humans can develop a new empower system based on highly integrated data closed-loop cycles, construct urban global data virtual image space, and implement data-driven decisions.
